Acclaim Extra Herbicide
Acclaim Extra's label includes a wide range of tiller growth stages with flexible timing. Acclaim Extra controls annual and perennial grasses in turfgrass. Apply Acclaim Extra to Kentucky bluegrass, Perennial ryegrass, Fine fescue, Tall fescue, Annual bluegrass, Zoysia grass, and Creeping Bentgrass. It controls smooth crabgrass, Large crabgrass, Goosegrass, Barnyardgrass, Foxtail species, Panicum species, Johnsongrass (seedling), Sandpur, Sprangletop, and Japanese Stillgrass. It can also temporarily suppress the growth of Johnsongrass rhizomes and common bermudagrass.*
Acclaim Extra is a systemic herbicide(absorbed through the foliage) that controls grasses that have emerged when spraying.
Use 40-80 gallons of finished mixed product per acre for thorough coverage.

It is rainfast about one hour after drying.
Susceptible weeds stop growing, turn red or purple, then die within one week.

Extra Tips
Broadleaf herbicides such as 2,4-D or MCPP may reduce the effectiveness of Acclaim Extra Herbicide. Do not apply Acclaim Extra within 21 days following a 2,4-D or MCPP application or five days before a 2,4-D or MCPP application.
Adequate soil moisture will enhance Acclaim Extra performance. Avoid application during drought stress conditions. Thorough irrigation one to two days before or within one day after application will be helpful under drought conditions.
