Isoxaben

Isoxaben
Isoxaben is a pre-emergent selective herbicide used to control broadleaf weeds. Its mode of action is a cellulose biosynthesis inhibitor and is useful where there are herbicide resistant weeds. It is to be applied prior to weed germination. Isoxaben will not control established weeds It is an important herbicide in tree nut and vineyard weeds.
Isoxaben can be tank mixed with other herbicides, such as Surflan or Glyphosate products. Glyphosate is a non-selective post-emergent herbicide and Surflan is another pre-emergent herbicide. It provides up to 6 months of residual control, depending on environmental conditions and use rates.
