Glyphosate - Mode of Action
Glyphosate is the active ingredient. Glyphosate inhibits an enzyme (found only in plants) that is essential for growth. As a systemic herbicide, it will penetrate the weed to the roots. The surfactant makes the glyphosate work more efficiently, no other surfactants are needed. It will kill annual weeds in 3 to 4 days and around one-two weeks for perennial weeds to completely die.
