Alligare Prodiamine 65 WG

Alligare's Prodiamine 65 WG (wettable granule) contains 65.0% prodiamine. It is a pre-emergent that controls crabgrass and other broadleaf and grassy weeds in established turfgrass (excludes golf course putting greens), lawns and sod nurseries, field grown, and landscape ornamentals, and more. The flexible label allows for both spring and fall applications for season-long control.

How Alligare's Prodiamine 65 WG Works

This pre-emergent prevents newly germinated weed seeds from growing. It stops them from establishing a root system. It is most effective when application is followed by rainfall or irrigation.

Amount of Component to Add in One Qt Jar of Spray Carrier (Assuming Carrier Volume of 25 gals/Acre

• Alligare Prodiamine 65 WG-1.0 lb per acre or 0.4 oz per 1,000 sq ft (1.5 level teaspoons)
• Dry Tank Mix Partners- 1.0 lb per acre or 0.4 oz per 1,000 sq ft (1.5 level teaspoons)
• Liquid Tank Mix Partners-1.0 pt per acre or 0.4 oz per 1,000 sq ft (0.5 level teaspoons)

Germination Chart for Crabgrass

Alligare's Promdiamine 65 WDG should be activated by at least 1/2 inch of water or rainfall before weed seeds germinate and within 2 weeks of application. The map below shows approximate crabgrass seed germination dates.

*Drift Control : Care should be exercised not to over spray or apply the herbicide to adjacent non-target areas. Drift control is achieved by following label and sprayer instructions. Using a marking dye will help determine where you have sprayed.
