Altosid Liquid Larvicide prevents mosquito emergence with (S)-methoprene as an insect growth regulator (IGR). Apply this microencapsulated formula to the larvae forms to stop the mosquito growth to the adult stages. The treated larvae ( 2nd, 3rd, or 4th larval instars ) will continue normal development to the pupae state, where the mosquito growth is halted. Altosid Liquid Larvicide will not effect adult or pupae stages, just the larvae stages.
