Evolve™ Mouse soft bait active ingredient is cottonseed oil, which interferes with the reproductive mechanisms of both male and female mice for pest control.

Targeting The Survivors

Rodenticides lose effectiveness over time due to learned aversion, genetic resistance, and tolerance. The mice that survive in a population are typically the ones that won’t eat rodenticides or have learned to outsmart traps. Surviving mice will continue to eat Evolve Mouse Soft Bait Contraceptive.

Directions

Determine areas where the mice are most likely to find and consume bait. These areas can include concealed areas along walls, near burrows, near structural openings in the floor, wall, or ceiling, or in hard-to-reach areas (e.g., in rafters, beams, or attics) or where other signs of mouse activity have been observed.

• Multiple tamper-proof rat bait stations may be placed in foraging areas or high-activity locations as needed.
• Place 2 to 12 pieces per placement.
• Adjust the amount of bait applied at each placement based on rat activity levels.
• Reassess activity for changes in placement and maintain an uninterrupted supply of bait.

Evolve Mouse Soft Bait

Evolve Mouse Soft Bait is a fertility-control bait designed to help manage mouse populations over time. Instead of working like a traditional quick-kill rodenticide, Evolve targets reproduction, helping reduce the number of new mice being added to the population when mice feed on the bait consistently.

This makes Evolve a useful option for long-term mouse management programs, especially in areas where mice continue to return, avoid traps, or rebound after short-term control efforts. It works best when fresh bait is kept available and when it is combined with good sanitation, exclusion, trapping, and routine monitoring.

How Evolve Mouse Soft Bait Works

Evolve contains cottonseed oil, which interferes with reproductive function in both male and female mice. Because this product is designed to affect fertility, results are gradual. You should not expect the same visible knockdown that you would see from a lethal rodent bait.

Population effects typically begin after mice have fed repeatedly over time and one or more breeding cycles have passed. Continued placement and monitoring are important because the goal is to reduce future reproduction, not just remove individual mice that are currently active.

Application Tips for Better Results

Place bait where mouse activity is already present, such as along travel paths, near nesting areas, or near signs like droppings, gnawing, rub marks, or feeding activity. Mice usually travel along edges and protected pathways, so careful placement is more effective than placing bait randomly.

Check bait placements regularly and keep fresh bait available. If feeding stops or activity continues in new areas, inspect for sanitation issues, hidden food sources, entry points, clutter, or gaps that may be supporting the infestation.
