Exponent as an insecticide synergist is designed as a tank mix with insecticides. It will increase the kill, level and speed of control with pyrethroids and other insecticides. Exponent Insecticide Synergist is labeled for mosquito misting systems. It can also be tank mixed with acaricides to control mites. As a synergist, it does not have any insecticidal properties of its own. Exponent Insecticide Synergist may be used in food areas and non-food areas. It has a mild odor.
How Exponent Insecticide Synergist Works
Exponent helps block the insecticide resistance by inhibiting the mixed function oxidative system, letting the insecticide increase its effectiveness.

Surface General and Crack & Crevice or Spot - Use 0.5 fl oz - 2 oz per gallon
Space Spray- Use 0.25 fl oz - 1 fl oz per gallon
When used as a space spray, do not exceed 0.4 fl. oz. of Exponent per 1,000 cu. ft. of space treated. When used as a crack and crevice, broadcast surface spray or spot treatment do not exceed 8 fl. oz. of Exponent per 1,000 sq. ft. of space treated.
Do not apply more than 1 time per day. Do not make space spray application when facility is in operation. Remove or cover exposed food and drinking water before application. Remove or cover dishes, utensils, food processing equipment and food preparation surfaces, or wash them with a suitable detergent and rinse with potable water before use. Direct application to food contact surfaces is prohibited. Ventilate well prior to reentry or reoccupation. Allow spray to dry prior to reentry.

Best Practices when using Exponent Insecticide Synergist
Prevent staining -Staining may occur on some surfaces. If staining is a concern, treat an nconspicuous area to test for possible staining or discoloration. Inspect again after drying, then proceed to spray entire area to be treated.
Tank mix only- Exponent is not intended for use alone, but only as a component of a tank mix. When tank mixing, always follow the most restricted labeling of all products in the mixture.
