Product Information
FoxFarm Happy Frog Potting Soil
FoxFarm Happy Frog Potting Soil has soil microbes that help break down organic matter, improving root efficiency. Potted plants can not seek out all the nutrition needed in the ground. The all-natural ingredients in Happy Frog include earthworm castings, bat guano, and composted forest humus that improve nutrient uptake.
Happy Frog contains Mycorrhizae fungi (naturally occurs in forest soils) that is a beneficial root stimulator. Once the plant contacts this fungus, the Mycorrhizae begins growing onto the roots. This root growth from the mycorrhizae opens up the primary and secondary root development, so the plant takes up more nutrients. This root development results in superior flower and fruit production.
Happy Frog Potting Soil with its Humic acid increases micro-nutrient uptake. Humic Acid is a natural material extracted from Leonardite. Humic acid is naturally found in coals, some soils and peat as a result of organic matter decompostion.
