Ant activity around the bait may temporarily increase. This usually means workers are feeding and carrying the bait back to the colony.

Product Information

InTice Rover Ant Bait

InTice Rover Ant Bait is a thick, odorless liquid bait formulated for rover ants and other sweet-feeding ants.

The syrup-like formula stays in place on flat surfaces and can be applied inside Bait Plate Insect Bait Stations or on small pieces of cardboard, paper, or foil.

How InTice Rover Ant Bait Works

Worker ants consume the bait and carry it back to the nest, where it is shared throughout the colony to help control both visible and hidden ants.

Ant activity may temporarily increase as more ants discover the bait, so continue replenishing it until feeding and trailing activity stops. The formula may also be diluted for large or multi-colony infestations and used indoors or outdoors as directed by the product label.

How to Apply Indoors

Place InTice Rover Ant Bait inside Bait Plate Insect Bait Stations or apply it to a small piece of cardboard, paper, or foil. Position the bait where ants are actively trailing or searching for food and water.

  • Place bait near sinks, tubs, windowsills, baseboards, corners, and under cabinets.
  • Use multiple small placements instead of one large placement.
  • Keep all bait placements inaccessible to children and pets.
  • Inspect placements regularly and replenish bait as it is consumed or dries out.
  • Do not clean or disturb active ant trails leading to the bait.

How to Apply Outdoors

Locate ant trails and entry points around the structure. Place protected bait stations against the foundation near active trails. Exterior bait stations may be spaced approximately 5 to 10 feet apart according to label directions.

Diluted bait may also be spot-applied to foundations, fence posts, and other stationary outdoor structures to the point of runoff. Do not apply the bait to grass, plants, or directly into water.

Food-Area Use

In edible product areas of restaurants, food-processing facilities, or other locations where food is commercially prepared or exposed, apply only as a crack-and-crevice treatment. Clean up and remove any bait remaining outside the treated crack or crevice.

Application Tips

  • Remove competing food and water sources without disturbing active ant trails.
  • Place bait close to trails rather than directly on top of the ants.
  • Do not apply repellent insecticides on or near bait placements.
  • Heavy infestations may require multiple placements and several refills.
  • Continue monitoring and replenishing the bait until ant activity stops.
