- commonly known as creeping beggarweed
- perennial weed
- leaves are made up of three leaflets
- leaves are elliptic in shape and point at the tip
- flowers are rose to pink in color
- found in southeastern regions all the way to Texas
- germination will start in the spring and go into the summer depending on your location

- best time to apply these herbicides is during active growth (summer)
- predominately a southern weed so use herbicides that are safe for southern grasses
- look for products that contain triclopyr, MCPP, Dicamba and/or 2,4-D
