Mold Clean - Wood Cleaner & Surface Conditioner
Mold-Clean is a wood cleaner and surface conditioner. It is often used as a preparation application of wood surfaces before using Bora-Care, Bora-Care with Moldcare or Tim-bor. Mold-Care has a pleasant scent and is ready to use; it requires no mixing.
Mold-Clean is not a mold preventer, but removes the stains from mold and mildew. For preventing mold, use Bora-Care with Moldcare.
Mold Clean - Deeply Penetrates
Mold-Clean ensures penetration by its wetting agents and detergents. It penetrates deep into the wood pores for thorough stain removal. In many cases, you don't have to scrub. Unlike bleach, it is not corrosive to metal fittings and fixtures.
How Mold-Clean Works
Mold Clean uses a strong oxidizing agent for color stain removal with a high pH tolerant surfactant that helps to wet surfaces and penetrates the wood. This surfactant is an anit-corrosive stablizer.

| Application | DirectionsSpray this ready to use to use product on wood and other surfaces. Apply liberally to the point of runoff using a low pressure (15-20 psi) sprayer. B&G Dura Sprayer would work very well. Let the wood remain wet for 10 minutes, then rinse with water with a high pressure steam. In some cases a high pressure steam application would not work in places like attics or crawl spaces. In this case, follow the directions, allowing it the Mold-Clean to stay for 10 minutes and not allowing the product to dry. Lightly mist with water if needed during those 10 minutes to keep it wet. Afterwards, with a scrub brush and water, scrub the stained area using a lot of water. According to Nisus, "use of a commercial pressure washer for power rinsing may be necessary for total removal of some types of stains or surfaces with old finishes or paint remaining in some areas."
