For Snakes: NM Professional Snake and Iguana Granular Repellent uses two main ingredients to keep snakes and iguanas away. This strong formula affects the Jacobson Organ sensor in their mouth and keeps them from touching, which irritates their skin.
For Iguanas:While it helps keep iguanas out of the area, this repellant does not completely remove them. In addition to irritating their skin, this mixture has an impact on iguanas' senses. It is been discovered that geckos and lizards respond well to this product.

How Snake and Iguana Professional Granulars Work
NM Professional Snake and Iguana Granular Repellent stimulates and confuses snakes' chemosensory senses. It disrupts the reptile's Jacobson Gland and creates discomfort, causing it to flee. Because this mixture confuses the snake's capacity to gather vital information about their surroundings, they must evacuate and find a new home.
Snake Repellent Application
Before Use: Wear eye protection, and protective clothing/gloves before applying. Due to the strong percentage of ingredients, skin, eye, and respiratory tract irritants may occur from prolonged or repeated exposures. Wash after use. Not for use on food or feed crops. This product is intended for use only as a barrier repellent applied as a perimeter around vegetation. Do not apply directly to water, open waterways, or streams.
Inspect Before Application: It is important to get snakes out first, then apply around the outside to stop them from returning.
Avoid Contact in handling snakes if you are unfamiliar with species and their proper handling. The quick checklist shows likely places snakes may be found, in addition to the property owners' visual observance.

Apply NM Professional Snake and Iguana Granular Repellent using a scoop (not included). Avoid using a broadcast spreader, as it does not effectively control the band strip properly.
Day 1: Apply 20-inch bands next to buildings, homes, playgrounds, and other areas to keep snakes from entering.
Day 30: Reapply in 30 days to continue to keep them away. You can also apply 3-foot bands at the perimeter of the property.
For hard-to-reach areas (under porches, decks, and crawl spaces, put these granules in small pouches*)
Put these granules into several 6-8 small pouches (a little more than a golf size)
Throw or drop several pouches in the center area where the snakes could be nesting.
Snakes should start clearing out from under these areas quickly.
Once you are certain they are gone, apply a 24-inch band around the perimeter and/or the area they are going in and out.
*Use cheesecloth or organza fabric cut into squares to make pouches.
Re-Application
NM Professional Granular Snake and Iguana Repellent will last approximately 40–60 days.
While they do not wash off in normal rainfall or irrigation,it should be lightly applied following periods of heavy ddownpours or consistent rainfall.

Iguanas eat flowers, especially hibiscus and orchids, as well as shrubs and other plants that grow well in warm climates.
Most of the time, they build their nests near roads, sea walls, and building foundations. Check these places for action.
General Application: Form a border 12 inches away from the edge of the bed; sprinkle a 20-inch band around flowerbeds and gardens. Apply heavy enough to see visibly.
Trees: Apply a 3-foot ring around the base of trees to prevent them from climbing to get any vegetation.
Open-Air Buildings: This product may be applied inside open-air buildings where iguanas roam and eat landscapes and plants. Apply directly inside of beds and /or planted beds.
