Contact Aerosols

Contact Insecticide aerosols kill on contact. These aerosols are beneficial against flying insects, particularly stinging insects like yellow jackets and wasps. Many contact sprays have an ingredient called, pyrethrin which comes from chrysanthemum flowers. Pyrethrins or their synthetic derivatives target the insect's nervous system for a quick knockdown. Contact aerosols do not have a residual, so their activity is short-lived.
