Prime Source's Prodiamine 4 SC Select contains 40.5% prodiamine. It is a pre-emergent herbicide that controls many grass and broadleaf weeds like crabgrass by preventing growth. It prevents the development of newly germinated weeds.
Prodiamine 4 SC Select my be applied on established turfgrass (except putting greens), lawns, sod nurseries, landscape,container and field grown ornamentals, Conifer and hardwood seedlings, Nurseries, Christmas tree farms,and Non-crop areas including utilities and managed rights-of-way.

Application
For best results allow for 1/2 inch of water from rainfall after application or a shallow irrigation of around 1-2 inches.
This pre-emergent prevents newly germinated weed seeds from growing. Apply this product before weed seeds germinate within 14 days of application. It stops them from establishing a root system. It is most effective when application is followed by rainfall or irrigation.
Use at least 20 gallons per acre at the rate of 0.5 gal/1,000 sq feet of carrier water. Use a calibrated, low-pressure sprayer with a 50-mesh or coarser screens. For best results, use a broadcast boom or handheld wand designed for insecticide or herbicide applications.

*Drift Control : Care should be exercised not to over spray or apply the herbicide to adjacent non-target areas. Drift control is achieved by following label and sprayer instructions. Using a marking dye will help determine where you have sprayed.
