Product Information

Quincept Selective Herbicide

Quincept Selective Herbicide combines 2,4-D, Quinclorac, and Dicamba as a selective, post-emergent herbicide. This herbicide is perfect for weed escapes or as a clean-up in areas that did not receive a preemergent herbicide during the spring months.

It controls over 200 unwanted broadleaf and grassy weeds such as chickweed, dandelion, plantain, black medic, oxalis, knotweed, crabgrass, barnyard grass, foxtail, thistle, and more listed weeds and grasses.

The quinclorac contributes to grassy weed control by its absorption in the foliage and roots and is translocated throughout the plant. The susceptible grasses will begin to see stunted growth, necrosis, and eventual death.

Key use areas include residential and non-residential turfgrasses (grounds or lawns around residential and commercial establishments, parks, airports, roadsides, schools, picnic grounds, athletic fields, cemeteries, golf courses, and sod farms).

Highly Tolerant Species:

Bluegrass, Annual Fescue, Tall, Ryegrass are highly tolerant of Quincept.

Moderately Tolerant Species:

Bentgrass, Bermudagrass, Bluegrass (Rough) Fescue, Chewings, Fine, Hard, Red, and Zoysiagrass are moderately tolerant.

Do not use on these Grass Species:

Bahiagrass, Bentgrass, Buffalograss, Carpetgrass, Centipedegrass, Dichondra, Paspalum, Seashore, and St.Augustine grass

  • Post-emergence control of more than 200 tough broadleaf weeds plus crabgrass, foxtail, barnyard grass, and signal grass
  • Three active ingredients pack a powerful punch
  • Perfect late season rescue for weed escapes
  • Ideal for broadcast spray or spot applications
  • Easy to use liquid measuring and use with limited agitation

Application
  • For single application: Use 7 to 8 pts per acre or 112 to 128 ounces per acre. For spot treatments, apply 2.6 to 2.9 fluid ounces per 1,000 sq ft.
  • Dual application: A single application should control less mature, light weed populations; however, a second application may be required to control heavy, mature broadleaf weed infestations. Under certain conditions, annual grasses in the 2 to 4-tiller stages may require a sequential application. If a second application is required, allow 14 to 21 days between applications.
