Remedy Herbicide
Remedy Herbicide is a selective triclopyr-based solution designed for effective control of woody plants, brush, vines, and tough broadleaf weeds across pastures, rangeland, and CRP acres.
Its oil-soluble formulation penetrates bark and foliage for consistent control of deep-rooted, hard-to-kill species.
Remedy can be applied as a foliar spray, basal bark treatment, or cut-stump application, providing flexible options for vegetation management in a wide range of environments.
When to Use
- Apply when plants are actively growing and not stressed.
- Brush control is most effective after full leaf expansion.
- For mesquite, spray when foliage turns from light to dark green and soil temperatures are above 75°F.
- Avoid treating during drought, extreme heat, or after frost/hail damage.
Grazing & Haying Restrictions
- No grazing restrictions for most livestock.
- Lactating dairy animals may not graze treated areas until the next growing season.
- Do not harvest hay for 14 days after application.
- Withhold livestock from treated areas for 3 days before slaughter.
Retreatment Guidelines
- On rangeland and permanent pastures, only one application per year is permitted.
- Do not exceed a total of 2 quarts of Remedy per acre per growing season.
- Broadcast applications should not be repeated within the same season.
- Spot treatments may be used later in the season to treat missed or newly emerged plants, but total annual application must still remain within labeled limits.
- For tropical soda apple or similar species, follow-up spot treatments may be applied as needed to control remaining plants (per label recommendations).
- Always ensure plants have fully regrown and are actively growing before considering any retreatment.
Use Limitations

- Do not apply through irrigation systems (no chemigation).
