Roundup Quikpro Herbicide - Glyphosate & Diquat ( 6.8 lbs )
Roundup Quikpro, with the popular ingredient glyphosate, is a post-emergent herbicide that is a non-selective herbicide that kills broadleafs, grass weeds, and trees.
Glyphosate provides a quick kill as a systemic and total vegetation kill (works as a non-selective). Another popular quality of glyphosate in Roundup is that it doesn't reside in the soil for a long time as some herbicides. Roundup Quikpro has an additional ingredient called Diquat (2.9%), giving you added speed in killing the weed.
As an alternative to glyphosate herbicides, you can choose glufosinate active ingredient . Glufosinate is another broad-spectrum, non-selective herbicide that comes from soil bacteria. Often sold as ammonia salt, it is a contact herbicide with no soil residual.

How is Roundup Quikpro formulated?
Quikpro is a water-soluble granule. This container has 6.8 lb of granules with a measuring cup. This formulation contains a surfactant for easier spreading. Because it is a water-soluble granule, it is applied with typical sprayers such as pump-ups, backpacks or larger sprayers.
How does Roundup Quikpro work?
As a systemic, Quickpro travels through the plant from the point of foliage contact to and into the root system. Monsanto has added an additional ingredient to Quikpro called Diquat. The glyphosate will reach the roots, and the diquat will kill the leaves and blades. This will give you dual action, killing inside and outside the plant. Glyphosate inhibits an essential enzyme that forms amino acids needed for plant growth. Diquat rapidly disrupts the cell integrity of photosynthetically active tissues in the contacted foliage.
Quikpro has very little residual activity, so it only works on weeds that have emerged. Weeds that are still in the germination stage will not be affected.
Will it wash off in the rain ?
Quikpro is rapidly absorbed, so it rains fast in one hour. As it is absorbed quickly, it won't wash off with rain as easily.
How long does it take for Quikpro to work ?
You can start to see the effects (yellowing to browning of foliage ) of Quikpro on most annual weeds within 24 hours and on most perennial weeds in 2 days. However, the effects may be delayed if there is very cool or cloudy weather following treatment, slowing activity.
