Product Information
SurePyc IQ Herbicide with Imazaquin & Sulfentrazone
SurePyc IQ combines two powerful active ingredients—imazaquin and sulfentrazone—to tackle both broadleaf weeds and sedges in warm-season turfgrasses. Its dual-mode action ensures long-lasting control and reduced resistance risk.
Why Use SurePyc IQ
Dual Modes of Action: Controls a wider spectrum of weeds and reduces chances of resistance buildup.
Selective Turf Safety: Formulated specifically for warm-season grasses, minimizing turf injury when used as directed.
Flexible Application: Suitable for broadcast or spot treatments with standard ground equipment.
Rapid Visible Results: Many target weeds show symptoms within 7–14 days of application.
Cost-Effective: Broad-spectrum control reduces the need for multiple products.
Key Benefits
Broad-Spectrum Control: Over 70 annual and perennial weeds controlled, including tough Sedges and Kyllingas.
Enhanced Turf Recovery: Minimal stress on desirable turf allows for rapid green-up post-treatment.
Long Residual Activity: Extended control period reduces frequency of reapplication.
Improved Playability: Ideal for golf courses, sports fields, and high-traffic areas where turf quality matters.
Environmentally Responsible: Lower herbicide input per acre compared to sequential treatments with multiple products.
How to Use
Apply only after weeds have emerged and are actively growing.
Use ground spray equipment, handheld or backpack sprayers calibrated to:
Broadcast: 20–40 gallons of spray solution per acre
Spot treatments: 10–20 gallons per acre
For resistant Kyllinga and Sedge species, follow label guidelines for sequential, lower-rate applications.
Do not mow 7–14 days before or after treatment.
Avoid irrigation for 24 hours following application.
Always consult and adhere to the full product label for precise rates, timing, and safety instructions.
