When to Apply Andersons' Barricade Herbicide
Apply Andersons' Barricade Herbicide early spring and fall before weed seeds can germinate. To activate the herbicide, it is recommended that at least 0.5 inches of water be applied within 14 days after the initial application.

When weed pressure is high or growing seasons are extended, it may be necessary to make a second application of the product 60-90 days after the initial application. It should be noted that Fine Fescue and Creeping Bentgrass should not be subject to a second application. A second application should not be made if a high rate is used on Buffalograss, Kentucky Bluegrass, or Perennial Ryegrass. It is important to remember that up to two applications per year should be made, and the product should not be applied at a rate exceeding 7.2 lbs/1000 sq. ft. annually. For best results, activate the product with at least 0.2 inches of rainfall or irrigation before weed seed germination and within 14 days following application to achieve optimal weed control in turfgrasses.
