For best results, apply before deer damage becomes severe and reapply as needed according to label directions. Always test on one plant before treating larger areas to confirm plant compatibility.
Dilute Trico according to label directions, typically mixing 1 part Trico with 3 to 5 parts water depending on deer pressure. Apply with a handheld or knapsack sprayer fitted with a medium nozzle.
Spray evenly onto the plant parts you want to protect, making sure foliage, shoots, and vulnerable growth receive thorough coverage. Apply at the first signs of deer damage, especially during spring and autumn when browsing pressure may increase.
Use 0.2 L of product per 100 m² with a water application rate of 0.3 to 1.0 L per 100 m². Repeat after 28 days if needed, with a maximum of 4 applications per year. Avoid applying before rain because the product must dry on plant surfaces to be effective.
