HOW TO APPLY
Proceed below for our detailed application guide, or click here if you prefer to watch a video covering all the steps.
Before You Start
SAFETY
Keep children and pets out of the area during and after spraying until the spray is completely dry, typically taking 1-2 hours.
Wear the provided disposable gloves, closed-toe shoes, pants, and a long-sleeve shirt at all times.
PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
To safeguard pollinators, refrain from spraying near flowering or pollen-producing plants.
Try to avoid applying the spray if rain is forecasted within the next 24 hours. This will not only protect the water table but also ensure optimal results.
TEST YOUR WAND
Before you start, we recommend testing out the band and wand with just water. Twist nozzle to adjust stream.
The stream spray is best for: Under and around appliances
The barrier spray is best for: Barrier/perimeter of home, around doors & windows
The mist spray is best for: Baseboards
Application Instructions
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIY APPLICATION BAG
Put on your safety gloves and fill the application bag with water until it’s about halfway full.
Gently pour in the insecticide concentrate, taking care to avoid spills. Shake the bag well to ensure the mixture is thoroughly combined.
Pro Tip: After emptying the insecticide concentrate bottle, add water, shake, and pour it back into the application bag to ensure you capture every last drop!
FILL THE BAG
Fill the bag completely to the fill line, then insert the tube and cap assembly. Securely close the bag and shake it again to ensure the product is well mixed.
START SPRAYING
Spray around your home’s perimeter by standing 2-3 feet away from the foundation and lightly applying the spray in a 4-foot wide band—2 feet up the wall and 2 feet out on the ground. A light mist is sufficient; there's no need to saturate the surfaces.
Pace yourself, and keep in mind that you can always reapply to areas if you have any mixture left.
Pro Tip: Set your wand to the barrier spray mode for optimal coverage during your home's barrier treatment.
Spray along the edges of porches, decks, patios, and even inside the garage if you notice any activity. While it’s harmless, spraying in the yard won’t effectively protect your home’s perimeter.
Target potential entry points such as piping, around the AC unit, and crawlspace entrances. Approach the task with a bug's perspective to identify and cover all possible entry areas!
Along with the foundation, make sure to spray around windows (avoiding the glass), doors, garage openings, and eaves.
TREATING INDOORS
During warmer weather or if you notice increased activity, we suggest spraying indoors as well. Apply the spray along baseboards every 2 feet, and be sure to spray under and around appliances. Don’t forget to spray around windows (avoiding the glass) and doors.
Pro Tip: Use the mist spray setting on your wand for baseboards, the stream setting for under and around appliances, and the barrier setting for around doors and windows.
FINISHING UP
If you have any leftover mixture, reapply it outside and in areas with high activity. Make sure nothing goes to waste!
After using up the mixture, flush your wand with clean water for 15-20 seconds to remove any residue. Dispose of the application bag, gloves, and empty insecticide container, but keep the wand.
Keep pets and children away from all treated areas until the application has dried, which typically takes 1-2 hours.
