what is the best way and place to apply gel bait outdoors?

If you want to apply in the grass or flower beds, we have Ants no more ant bait stations or we also have Bait Plate insect bait stations for the porch. Neither bait station is pet or child resistant.
The ants go into the bait traps, walk around, and leave. We're going to order Optigard Ant Bait Gel before we lose hope over controlling indoor household ants. We never got a reply from DYIpestControl about our Savitri issue. Savitri is not recommended for ant control.

I am sorry you are having issues with ants feeding on the Savitri Gel. Ants can be difficult to figure out. Their food preferences can change at a moment's notice. I have used Savitri many times and always found it to be attractive to the ants and effective. Optigard Gel is another good bait to try and I have an even longer track record with it.
