Alligare De-Foamer suppresses tank mixes where foaming is expected or occurring and functions as a non-ionic spreader. Alligare's De-Foamer uses a highly efficient, concentrated silicone oil-in-water emulsion as a low-foam, non-ionic spreader activator, and defoaming agent. It may be tanked mixed with insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides, helping to eliminate foam with agitating chemicals.

As a non-ionic spreader, De-Foamer breaks down the waxy cuticle on the leaf surface which improves adhesion on the plant surface.
Alligare's De-Fomer can be compared to Foam-Kil, Defoamer, 90/10 Surfactants
Directions
Use 1/2 -1 oz per 100 gallons of solution. If mixtures are easily deformed, use lower amounts. If mixtures are tougher to deform, use higher rates of Alligare's De-Foamer. Mix the De-Foamer after the mixing of the ingredients and water have been put in the tank.
