Ascertain TR-Protection
Ascertain TR is a total-release aerosol for greenhouse use. As the primary form of protection as a shield for bedding plants, containerized plants, cut flowers, ornamentals, and other non-food crops in commercial greenhouses, Ascertain TR's active ingredient, bifenthrin, effectively combats various insect pests such as aphids, armyworms, bagworms, caterpillars, fungus gnats, whiteflies, thrips, and mites.

This efficient labor-saving total release application takes only a few minutes to cover up to 3,000 sq. ft. with billions of micron-sized particles, eliminating the need for spraying equipment. Average air circulation makes these particles evenly spread out, even reaching the top and bottom of leaf surfaces.
A 12-hour entry interval has been established to maintain health and safety standards, and all greenhouse plants, even those with open blossoms, are safeguarded.
Dosage
Use one 2-ounce container per 3,000 square feet (50,000 cubic feet). 2 containers per 3,000 square feet (50,000 cubic feet) are permissible for greenhouses with tough-to-control insects. Use one container for smaller greenhouse spaces (less than 3,000 square feet). Depending on the level of the insect problem, the product may be used up to two times per week.

| Application | ApplicationA greenhouse can provide complete coverage with its natural airflow. The particles emitted by the chemical, owing to their small size, are distributed above and below the foliage. As a result, the foliage is thoroughly saturated with particles. Use in small, confined spaces like closets, cabinets, or areas beneath tables or counters is not recommended. Using a Total Release container in an enclosed area may cause it to explode, injure people, or damage property.
It is important to know that Ascertain TR is classified as a Group 3A insecticide, and an insect population can contain naturally-occurring individuals resistant to Ascertain TR and other Group 3A insecticides. Suppose this type of insecticide is used repeatedly in the same greenhouse. In that case, these resistant individuals may take over the insect population, so it is necessary to employ proper resistance-management strategies. |
