People ask me this question all the time. Can I get your products at the box stores? The box stores do not handle concentrates for the most part. Yes, some weed killers are concentrate, but they feel much more confident selling ready to use products.
Avesta is one of our best all purpose insecticides. It has the exact actives and concentrates as Demand CS, Cyzmic CS and Lambd Star CS, but cheaper.Â
Product Information
Avesta CS Insecticide
Avesta CS is a professional insecticide concentrate formulated with 9.7% lambda-cyhalothrin for broad-spectrum control of listed pests indoors and outdoors. Its capsule suspension formulation is designed to provide dependable residual performance on treated surfaces, making it a versatile choice for routine pest prevention and targeted insect control.
Why Choose Avesta CS?
- Broad-spectrum control: Controls many common crawling, flying, lawn, and ornamental pests listed on the product label.
- Controlled-release formulation: The capsule suspension helps protect and gradually release the active ingredient on treated surfaces.
- Indoor and outdoor flexibility: Suitable for structural, perimeter, lawn, ornamental, and other labeled applications.
- Multiple treatment methods: May be applied as a general surface, spot, crack-and-crevice, or perimeter treatment where permitted by the label.
- Concentrated formula: Flexible dilution rates allow the treatment to be matched to the target pest and application site.
Avesta CS can be used to treat pest harborage areas, structural entry points, exterior foundations, lawns, ornamental plants, and other approved locations. Indoors, it may be applied to labeled cracks, crevices, voids, and surfaces where pests hide or travel. Outdoors, it can be used around buildings and landscaped areas as part of a preventative or corrective pest management program.
The capsule suspension formulation makes Avesta CS especially useful for routine perimeter and structural treatments where residual control is important. Because the product supports several application methods and dilution rates, users can address a range of pest problems without purchasing a separate insecticide for every treatment area.
For carpenter bee treatments, apply the product to labeled wood surfaces and areas where activity has been observed or is likely to occur. For other pests, focus applications on known hiding places, travel routes, entry points, and other locations specified by the product label.

Avesta CS
With Avesta CS, you can take care of all your pest needs in one easy-to-use product. This broad-spectrum insecticide is perfect for killing various pests, such as carpenter bees, crickets, pantry beetles, pillbugs, roaches (not German roaches), scorpions, spiders, ticks, and more. Plus, with the active ingredient lambda-cyhalothrin 9.7%, you can trust that this product will get the job done.
Avesta CS Application: Uses and Dilution Rates
- Use Avesta CS to control unwanted pests inside or outside. Avesta may be applied as a general surface spray, crack & crevice formula, or spot treatment for immediate results.
- Besides indoor applications, you can apply Avesta CS outside. Apply on lawns, trees, and shrubs around residential structures and commercial areas such as industrial parks or agricultural buildings; apply it near athletic fields for mosquito, flea, and tick control.
- It is safe on lawns and ornamental surfaces and is safe for pets and people when you follow the label instructions.
- Dilution Rates: 0.2 oz-0.8 oz per gallon. Use 0.5 oz for most insects. See the label for complete instructions.
Cockroaches (not German roaches), Crickets and Earwigs: Apply as a coarse low-pressure spray to areas where these pests hide. These include baseboards, corners, storage areas, closets, water pipes, doors, windows, attics, cabinets, and furnaces. Spray under and around stoves, the underside of shelves drawers, and similar locations for best results.
Boxelder Bugs, Centipedes, Millipedes, Pillbugs, and Sowbugs: The boxelder bug, centipede, and millipede are all insects that can be found within your home. They like dark places so apply this treatment around doors or windows where you've seen them entering onto the property as well.
Carpenter Bees: Apply coarse spray to thoroughly wet wood surfaces where bees have been previously active or vulnerable areas for carpenter bee infestations. Ideally, spray Avesta CS early in the spring to prevent them from boring into the wood surface.
Avesta CS Mode of Action
Avesta CS is a pyrethroid class of chemicals. It works by acting on sodium channels in the nerve axon membrane, which causes an electrical imbalance and excessive firing. This action eventually disrupts normal impulse transmission, leading to paralysis before death ultimately occurs.
