With proper dispensing equipment, Cal Flo provides an even distribution, as opposed to course and dry liming materials that are difficult to handle. Formulated with the finest calcium particulates with ultra-fine limestone solids, Cal Flo reacts quickly to achieve desired results. It improves the pH in the soil on contact and improves nutrient absorption when using fertilizers.
If the soil pH is in the low range of 6, use 2.5 gallons per acre. If the pH is below 6, it may require 5 gallons per acre. You can expect immediate pH increase and a pH buffering to last for 2-3 months. Reapply Cal Flo as needed during the growing season. Generally speaking, using about 5 gallons per acre will adjust the pH value by 1 point, and 2.5 gallons per acre will adjust it by 1/2 point.
For best results, regularly test the soil.
