DominAnt Liquid Ant Bait, consisting of borax and a 5.4% active solution, draws ants to its delectable sweet bait. This ant bait efficiently eliminates common trailing household ants along with their colonies. Avoid the hassle of locating the ant colony by letting the ants consume DominAnt and carry it back to the colony. The whole colony and the queen are killed as a result.
By placing a Dominant liquid bait station near the trail of ants, you can observe how the ants rapidly congregate around the bait station. Ants are known for being social insects, meaning they will transport the bait back to their colony, ultimately destroying the entire colony - including the queen. For your convenience, DominAnt is offered in both gallon and pint containers.
How DominAnt Liquid Ant Bait Works
Although its enticing sweetness may initially attract ants, DominAnt's true impact on pests stems from the interference caused by the boron molecules present in its active ingredient.
Unlike humans and other organisms, pests cannot eliminate excess boron from their bodies, leading to a buildup that disrupts their metabolic processes. As a result, ingesting DominAnt causes insects to be unable to extract nutrients from their food, ultimately leading to starvation. Fortunately, the risk of harm to humans, pets, and other living beings is minimal since they can eliminate excess boron from their bodies.
Borax is a slower-acting insecticide. Thus, once feeding begins, it will take approximately 24 hours for the toxicant to be distributed throughout the colony, reaching the reproductives. Numbers of foraging ants will decrease, and only stragglers will remain before elimination.
