Since this is an all season fertilizer, you can apply it in early spring, late spring, late summer, fall or anytime. if part of the Espoma Annual Program (Step 2), apply it April through June.

It doesn't leach out of the soil or burn lawns and requires less frequent mowing.

Application

• After the lawn has been recently mowec, apply to dry lawn using a broadcast spreader or drop spreader. It is important to overlap to prevent stripping. If rain is not expected within 24 hours, water lightly after application.
• Apply at a rate of 6 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.if grass clippings are returned.
• If grass clippings are removed: For late spring and fall applications, double the above rates (28 lbs cover up to 5,000 sq ft).
