Dismiss Herbicide

Dismiss Herbicide, by FMC is a selective, post-emergent herbicide. It has shown to work faster than Certainty, Sedgehammer or Monument.

Dismiss Herbicide is one of the best herbicides for sedge weed control in residential and commercial turf. Troublesome sedges such as green kylinga and yellow nutsedge are knocked out with visible results from one to two days. It not only attacks the surface of the weeds but better yet, gets into the soil to penetrate the sedge tubers. This penetrating soil action helps to prevent additional outbreaks of sedges.

It is also labeled for the control or suppression on over 45 broadleaf weeds and grasses, but excels in sedge control. It is tolerated on both warm and cool season kinds of grasses ( 13 common turfgrasses). See the label for listings and restrictions.

Surfactant/ Adjuvant Use

It is not recommended to use surfactants or adjuvants with Dismiss due to discoloration of some turf types, combined with high temperatures and high relative humidity.

Additional Info	Use Dismiss on well established turfgrasses that are seeded, sodded or sprigged. First application of this product can be made following the second mowing providing the turfgrass has developed into a uniform stand with a good root system. Turfgrass injury could result from application of this product on turfgrass that is not well established or has been weakened by stresses such as unfavorable weather conditions, disease, chemical or mechanical influences. When applied as directed under the conditions described, the established turfgrasses on the label are tolerant to Dismiss turf herbicide at the recommended use rates in a range from 0.125 to 0.375 lb a.i./acre (4 to 12 fl. oz/acre or 0.092 to 0.275 fl. oz./1,000 sq. ft).
