Martin's Permethrin 1% Pour On works just like some of the products we put on our dogs and cats. The active ingredient of Pour On is in an oil base and it diffuses all though the animal's hide. It does take a day or two
for this to happen, so be patient.

Martin's Permethrin 1% Pour On
Martin's Permethrin 1% is a 1% synergized permethrin pour on topical insecticide for beef cattle, lactating and non-lactating dairy cattle and calves; and keds on sheep and lambs when applied as a pour on insecticide. Martin's Permethrin 1% is ready to use with no dilution necessary (except for back rubber devices).
One gallon treats up to 51 cattle.
Directions
For lactating and non-lactating dairy cattle, beef cattle, calves and sheep: Pour along back line & down face. Apply 1/2 fl. oz. per 100 lbs body weight of animal, up to a maximum of 5 fl. ozs. for any one animal to control lice, horn flies and face flies. Martin's Permethrin 1% helps control stable flies, horse flies, mosquitoes, black flies and ticks.
For Keds on Sheep: Pour along back line over neck, shoulders & rump. Apply 1/4 fl. oz. per 50 lbs. body weight of animal, up to a maximum of 3 fl. ozs. for any one animal.
For cattle and sheep repeat as needed, but do not exceed 5 fl oz. during any 14 day interval.

Special Notes: Martin's Permethrin 1% product does not control cattle grubs. It is an oil base that will leave an oily shine on the coat of some animals. It is suggested to combine this product with other pest control methods as an integrated pest management system.
