Qualipro Imidacloprid 2F T&O (Gallon) is a systemic broad-spectrum turf and landscape insecticide with great flexibility and value. It targets soil-inhabiting pests in turfs, landscapes, greenhouses, ornamentals, golf courses. The Imidacloprid 21.8% dilution rate has low use rates and is easy to mix and apply.
Qualipro Imidacloprid 2F T&O with 21.8% Imidacloprid provides long-lasting systemic control of soil-inhabiting pests in your turfgrass and landscape plantings. As a systemic insecticide, it moves from the treated foliage to roots. It targets grubs and other turf pests that feed on these plants and die.
This flexible insecticide is effective against turfgrass pests such as Southern masked chafers, Northern masked chafers,
Japanese beetles, European chafers, European crane flies, and
Green June beetles. It also controls Mole Crickets and suppresses Chinch bugs (see label).
Qualipro Imidacloprid 2F T&O is a flowable formulation with low use rates, becoming cost-effective.
Ideally use this systemic insecticide prior to the hatch-out of eggs of your targeted pests. This insecticide harms pollinators like bees, so don't spray during their activity.
To suppress chinch bugs, apply before the first instar nymphs hatch. To control mole crickets, apply Imidacloprid 2F T&O before or during the peak egg hatch period. If the mole crickets are adults, large nymphs, or are actively tunneling, use another insecticide in addition to Imidacloprid 2F.
How To Use Imidacloprid 2F T&O
Use a hose-end sprayer, hand pump sprayer, or backpack sprayer. Hand pump sprayers are good for spotted applications and small lawn areas, while hose-end sprayers and backpack sprayers are good for larger broadcast applications.
First Step: How large is the treated area? Measure length x width to determine the square footage. For general use, mix at the rate of 0.46 to 0.6 fl. oz. in a gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft or 1.25 to 1.6 pts per acre. Depending on which type of sprayer you use and how fast you walk, 1-2 gallons covers 1000 sq ft.
The label says not to spray more than 1.6 pts per acre per year.
Second Step: Mix the desired amount in choice of sprayers or calibrate your hose-end sprayer and spray the desired areas evenly.
*Tip: With the lid on the concentrate, shake the bottle first. If you are using a handheld pump sprayer or backpack sprayer, first fill your tanks up halfway with water, then add the Imidacloprid 2F concentrate, then finish up with more water and agitate to mix well.
Minimize drift: Apply on calm days with no or low windy days.
