Safety Goggles with indirect vents are designed to protect the wearer not only from dust and debris but from chemical splashing as well. According to insurance industry statistics, the second leading cause of work related eye injury is pesticide/chemical splash. Standard vented goggles DO NOT protect the wearer from chemical splashes. These goggles have covered vents that allow the movement of air in and out of the goggles to prevent fogging. These covered vents prevent splashing chemicals from entering the goggles, providing the wearer with greater protection.
