To apply this effective fertilize, choose to use a handheld, broadcast, or push spreader.
Balanced Homogeneous Plant Nutrients
Uniform, homogenous granular formulation .
CONTAINS: 10% Nitrogen, 10% Phosphorus (P205), 10% Potassium (K20) plus minor elements .
APPLICATION: Broadcast evenly over area and water in.
Vegetable Gardens - Spread evenly on the garden bed. Apply 1 cup (approx. 1/2 lb) per 50 linear feet of row -or- 1 cup per 50 sq. ft. (5 ft. x 10 ft.). Repeat Monthly or as needed. Rinse fertilizer off leaves or stems. Use half rate for younger plants.
Citrus - Use 1 cup per foot of tree canopy for established trees. (Example: A 10' diameter tree canopy would need 10 cups of fertilizer or the entire 5lb bag of this fertilizer). Fertilize three times per year, but do not fertilize November through January. For young trees or recent transplants, use 1/2 cup.
Flower beds - 1 cup per 50 sq. ft. (5 ft. x 10 ft.). Apply 3 times per year. 5 lbs. covers 1,000 sq. ft. (40 ft. x 25 ft.). Rinse fertilizer off leaves or stems. Use half rate for younger plants.
Roses and large shrubs - 1/2 cup per 4 foot of height. Apply 3 times per year. Rinse fertilizer off leaves or stems. Use half rate for younger plants.
Apples, Pears, Peaches, Plums - For mature trees, use 1 cup (approx. 1/2 lb) per inch of tree diameter, up to 6" diameter trees. After that, use 2 cups (approx. 1 lb.) per inch of tree diameter, at most 15 lbs of fertilizer. Fertilize three times per year during the spring and summer.
Trees - Apply 1 cup (approx. 1/2 lb) under the tree canopy for every inch of trunk diameter. Water thoroughly. Use at most 5 cups per tree per application. Fertilize 2 times per year for maintenance.
