Subdue Maxx fungicide is in a microemulsion concentrate that controls pythium blight in cool season grasses like bluegrass. It contains Mefenoxam that has been a time-tested material that have proven to be very effective against Pythium blight.

Pythium Blight is common when there is hot and humid weather, especially when night temperatures are above 68°F. Subdue Maxx is a microemulsion formulation that acts as a systemic traveling throughout the entire plant. It has excellent tank mix compatibility with easy mixing and is odorless.

Subdue Maxx is labeled for application as a foliar spray, soil surface spray or soil basal drench. It may be used in various applications such as commercial and residential landscapes, greenhouse and field-growth nursery plants, containers, non-bearing fruit and nut trees, botanical gardens and other non-residential landscapes.

How Subdue Maxx Works

The active ingredient, Mefenoxam 22%, inhibits ribosomal RNA synthesis and inhibits the pathogen at various stages in its life cycle; mycelia growth and spore formation stages.

Application

For use on established turf apply at 0.50 to 1.0 ft. oz. in 1 to 5 gals. of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Retreat at 10 to 21-day intervals. For uses other than on turf consult the product label for full instructions.
