Twister XL-3 has the highest flow rates of any backpack sprayer on the market with true ULV droplets. It produces droplets less than 20 microns at flow rates 2-3 times higher than other backpack sprayers; it outperforms with its nozzle and blower system. It is known for its impressive performance and durability.
Manufactured in the USA, Twister SL has quality components and workmanship. For mosquito control, the Twister XL-3 is the number one choice with its patented Microtec nozzle that produces 90% of its droplets under 20 microns with a flow rate under 6.0 oz/minute. It is versatile, allowing the operator to quickly increase flow rates with larger droplets which are perfect for heavy vegetation and walls when placing out a barrier treatment for fly and mosquito control. Each sprayer has a one-gallon translucent formulation tank and comes with four quick-change flow control orifices (discs) for accurate spray quality.
Optional Dual Nozzle Attachment
Adding the optional Dual Nozzle Attachment #39716 increases flow rate capacity, increasing it up to 17 oz/min. The larger rate allows for applications that require higher rates not typically found on ULV backpack sprayers.

.WHOPES- WHO Pesticide Evaluation Scheme has tested the Twister XL-3 and approved its latest droplet testing worldwide. Originally manufactured for vector control in regions of Central and South America, it has been a number one choice by Health Ministries worldwide. American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA) and Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) also concur that sprayers with a droplet size of 10-20 VMD range are needed to kill mosquitoes like the Aedes Aegypti efficiently.
A normal "mist" blower with larger droplet size is not acceptable for good vector control. The droplets need to be small enough to stay suspended in the air to be able to impinge onto the mosquito. Note: in still air, a 200 µm droplet will take less than 5 seconds to fall 3 m, whereas a 20 µm droplet will take almost 5 minutes.
Comfortable To Use
It includes shoulder pads, back pads and a quick release waist belt. The nozzle is less than 1lb which minimizes operator fatigue
