Metsulfuron-methyl is a systemic herbicide that resides in the soil. As a highly selective herbicide it is used to control select broadleaf weeds, trees and brush, and some annual grasses.

How does Metsulfuron-methyl work?

It stops cell division in the shoots and roots of the plant causing plants to die. It inhibits cell division in shoots and roots.
