Product Information

BlueMax Meal Bait-Long-Lasting

Liphatech's BlueMax Meal Bait is a highly effective second-generation anticoagulant rodenticide with a unique dimethicone formula. When it comes to long-lasting bait, BlueMax is the go-to choice. Its mold inhibitors are incorporated into these meal formulations, keeping them stable.

Approved For Burrow Baiting

Bluemax Meal Bait is approved for burrow baiting. BlueMax's low crumb and low scatter formulation and palatability are the ideal solution to meet the most stringent requirements.

All-Weather Bait

BlueMax Meal Bait is an all-weather bait suitable for indoor and outdoor use in wet or dry areas. It kills roof rats, house mice, Norway rats, and even warfarin-resistant house mice within four to five days from the first dose, making it a cost-effective and efficient choice.

Top Features

  • BlueMax meal rodenticide is an excellent choice for burrow-baiting rats and mice in areas where non-targets cannot access the meal.
  • Formulated with difethialone (25 ppm), a second-generation anticoagulant; Vitamin K1 is the antidote.
  • Contains mold inhibitors.
  • Blue marker dye can be seen in droppings.
  • Bulk formulation allows the user to place the meal appropriate for a particular baiting location.
  • Effective as a Norway rat burrow bait thanks to its low potential for being ‘kicked out.’

Application

Inspect and Select: To eradicate rats and house mice effectively, it is essential to select treatment areas strategically. These areas typically include locations where rodents are likely to find and consume bait, such as along walls, in corners and concealed places, by gnawed openings, between floors or walls, or in burrows. Removing alternative food sources to increase the bait's effectiveness is also important.

House Mice: Apply 1/4 to 1/2 ounces of bait per placement, typically 8 to 12 feet apart. For areas of high activity, up to 2 ounces may be necessary. It is crucial to consistently supply fresh bait for 15 days or until signs of activity cease.

Rats: 4 to 16 ounces per placement, usually placed 15 to 30 feet apart, is advised for rats. Like house mice, fresh bait must be supplied consistently for 10 days or until signs of activity cease. This product may only be used in active rodent burrows and can control Norway rats and roof rats within 100 feet of buildings or man-made structures susceptible to rodent infestations. Efforts should also be made to remove sources of food, trash, and debris. Bait must be placed at least 6 inches into active Norway/roof rat burrows and should not be broadcasted.

Follow-Up:In the event of contaminated or spoiled bait, it should be replaced immediately. All visible dead animals, leftover bait, and any bait accessible to non-target animals must be collected and disposed of while wearing waterproof gloves. To prevent reinfestation, it is important to limit sources of rodent food, water, and harborage. In cases of continuous infestation, permanent bait stations should be set up, and bait should be replenished as needed.
