I like to spray the Doxem first then put the bait in non-pourus containers such as bait plates, bottle caps, or wax paper.

Strike Max Alacer Roach Gel Bait is a high-quality, effective solution for eliminating many cockroach species. Its potent formulation contains indoxacarb, enabling it to penetrate and eradicate roach pests effectively. Its highly palatable gel also ensures that even notoriously resilient cockroach populations like German roaches can be effectively targeted and controlled.
Contains the active ingredient Indoxacarb for maximum effectiveness. Indoxacarb briefly delays disposing of the roach, allowing it to return and spread the bait to the harborage site.
Provides targeted, thorough control of the most common cockroach species, including gel bait-averse cockroaches.
Doxim NXT Aerosol is pre-mixed and contains four distinct modes of action and four active ingredients. The product is specially formulated using non-repellent active ingredients such as Indoxacarb and Imidacloprid and two insect growth regulators - Novaluron and Pyriproxyfen.
Doxem NXT contains Indoxacarb and Imidacloprid to kill adult insects.
Pyriproxyfen and Novaluron are IGRs (Insect Growth Regulators). They prevent the normal development into adults.
Application of Alacer Roach Gel Bait
Infested areas must be thoroughly inspected to determine overall infestation levels, harborage area locations, and the best application points.
Apply Strike Max Alacer Roach Gel Bait as a small spot of material, approximately 0.5 grams (approx. 1/4” in dia.), to areas not accessible to children or pets.
Several small applications distributed within an area are more effective than 1 or 2 applications of large quantities. Sometimes, a small thin bead (less than 1/8” wide and 2” long) may be appropriate such as between construction elements or other cracks and crevices.
Indoor applications include cracks and crevices along walls or floors, behind or under equipment, under tables, within the framing of tables or furniture, around sinks, within or near garbage collection areas, attics, crawl spaces, and cracks and crevices in cabinets.
Inspect Strike Max Alacer Roach Gel Bait placements periodically for consumption or attractiveness and reapply as needed.
Application of Doxem NXT
Inject this product into cracks-and-crevices or void spaces where listed insects may be harboring, living, or breeding. Place the injector tip into cracks, crevices, holes, and other small openings for the direct spray to target listed insects. Release approximately one second of spray per injection. For heavy infestations, make injections approximately 12" apart.

Step By Step Instructions
Use a flashlight to make your inspection. Look for active roaches and their fecal material. The fecal material resembles grains of pepper.
Apply Alacer Roach Bait in small spots about 1/4" in diameter (the size of a pea). Alacer Roach Bait Gel can also be applied in thin lines if appropriate. For most infestations, applications should range from 10 to 20 spots per 100 square feet. Use more spots when infestations are heavy and/or when roaches live primarily in wall voids or other inaccessible areas. Smaller, more frequent spots are better than occasional large spots. Place Alacer Roach Bait in pea dime-size spots where you suspect roach activity.
Place bait in locations where the roaches are running, behind and under ovens, stoves, and refrigerators, between the refrigerator and nearby appliances, and behind microwaves, toasters, ovens, coffee makers, and dishwashers. Place in cabinets and anywhere you see roach droppings. German roaches will be hiding in dark, warm areas. For more location tips, Roach Placement Tips
We recommend placing the bait in small containers like bottle caps. You can also cut wax paper into 4x4 inch sections, make a crease in it, and apply the bait in the crease. Remove these " bait stations" in about a month.
DO NOT use repellent insecticides because they will contaminate the bait. The insecticides in Doxem NXT are non-repellent insecticides.
