- "This product is toxic to honey bees if bees are exposed to direct application. However, dried residues of this product are non-toxic to honey bees. Treat during non-foraging periods to minimize adverse effects.", according to Mavrik label.
Mix 0.1 oz (2/3 teaspoon) per gallon or .5 oz (3 teaspoons per 5 gallons for a high density of mosquito infestations. You can use .04- 1/3 teaspoon per gallon or 0.2 1 1/3 teaspoon in five gallons of water for light to moderate mosquito infestations. Use a low pressure, course fan spray and spray 5 gallons of mixed solution per 1,000 square feet. You may need to retreat in 7-14 days, but do not reapply more than 4 times a month or 20 times a year.
A high volume of mixed solution with a thorough spray coverage is essential when using Mavrik Perimeter.
