PT 4 Allure Moth Trap Uses
PT 4 Allure Moth Traps may be used to trap current moth infestations or to monitor or locate moth infestations.
To trap: Use no more than 1-2 traps per room; 3,000 cubic feet
To monitor: Use one trap per 30,000 square feet, evenly space traps in a grid system. Hang in appropriate locations and record the results.
To find infestations: Use traps to areas where moths have been captured and increase the trap density to one trap per 9,000 cubic feet and closely inspect.
PT 4 Allure Moth Trap Pheromones
The pheromone lure attracts the male moths. The pheromone lure commonly last 1-4 months depending on the number of insects trapped. Replace the traps if insects, debris or dust gets on the glue, reducing the ability to stick. The pheromone may be reused in other traps. Refrigerate the pheromone for prolonged use.
Whitmire PT 4 Allure moth traps can be used in the pantry, grain storage, barns, bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, food service areas, restaurants, dining areas, food prep areas, cabinets, closets, and offices.
