As an alternative to glyphosate herbicides, you can choose a product with Glufosinate as an active ingredient. Glufosinate is often sold as ammonia salt, it is a contact herbicide with no soil residual.

Application Instructions
Trim and Edge Areas — Rate: 1.5 oz per gallon of water
Ideal for areas where mechanical trimmers cannot reach.
Shrub and Flower Beds — Rate: 1.5 oz per gallon of water
Controls weeds in landscape beds where string trimming may disturb mulch and hand weeding is labor-intensive.
Apply carefully to emerged weeds, avoiding contact with desirable plants and foliage.
Brush and Vines
Spray-to-Wet Treatment: 1.5 oz per gallon of water
Low-Volume Treatment: 4–8 oz per gallon of water
Effective on woody brush and climbing vines that often resprout after cutting or mowing. Thorough coverage of
foliage is essential for complete control.
Tree Rings — Rate: 1.5 oz per gallon of water
Apply around the base of ornamental and shade trees to maintain a weed-free zone that reduces competition for moisture and nutrients. Keeping rings clear helps young trees establish and grow more vigorously.
Avoid contactwith green bark, exposed roots, or desirable vegetation.
Dormant Bermudagrass and Bahiagrass Turf — Rate: 5–16 oz per acre
Use only when turf is fully dormant and prior to spring green-up to control or suppress winter annual weeds and unwanted cool-season grasses.
Applications exceeding 9 oz per acre may cause temporary injury or delayed green-up in highly maintained turf areas. Not for use on turf grown for seed or seed production.
When to Apply
