Specticle FLO with indaziflam, is a pre-emergent, selective and broad-spectrum herbicide that provides residual control of troublesome weeds such as crabgrass, annual sedge, poa annua and goosegrass. It also controls annual sedges and broadleaf weeds in turf, ornamentals (residential), hedgerows, hardscapes, Christmas trees, and conifers.
Use Specticle Flo on warm season turf to control grassy weeds and more than 60 broadleaf weeds. This pre-emergent weed killer is non-staining, and it is a low odor herbicide that has a low use rate; uses less active ingredients than competing weed killers. It lasts up to 8 months.
For a larger percentage of indazilflam, with lower use rates for non-residential use, see Esplanade 200 SC
Top Features
- Innovative pre-emergent solution allows less application and greater weed control
- Broad spectrum control of key grassy weeds and more than 60 broadleaf weeds
- Longer residual control, which means fewer applications and reducing fuel, labor and pesticide costs
- New, easy-to-measure formulation
- Tank mix flexibility makes it easy to mix with selective herbicides
- Low use rate results in effective applications with up to 40 times less active ingredientÂ

Mode of Action
Specticle FLO, a Group 29 herbicide reduces the emerging seedlings by a CB Inhibitor that inhibits the cellulose biosynthesis. It destroy the formation of plant cell walls by inhibiting the cellulose. It does not control plants existing rootstocks, woody vegetation, bulbs, corms, rhizomes, and plants emerging from tubers.
Resistance Management
There is no know resistance to Specticle Flo and no know issues with cross resistance between other classes of herbicides and Specticle Flo. The results of Specticle Flo is not affected by the presence of biotypes resistant to trazines, glyphosate, mitotic inhibitors, growth regulators, ALS inhibitors, mitotic inhibitors, or herbicides with other modes of action. As with any herbicide, prolonged use with the same mode of action may lead to resistant weed populations.
