The four-chamber internal turbo funnel 2.0 takes advantage of the carpenter bees' amazing sense of smell and hearing. The four aeration holes strongly emit the pheromone scents and sounds of the trapped bees, attracting other bees away from your home and wooden structures.
Trap Placement and Empting
If you have a carpenter bee infestation, place the traps where the carpenter bees are active. Place the trap directly over the existing carpenter bee holes and add Bee-Licious Bee Bait.
We suggest using a long-term residual insecticide, like Cyzmic CS, sprayed on the surfaces where they are burrowing, steering the bees away from your structure.
If you don't have carpenter bees yet, place traps at corners and peaks of the structures, preferably on the sunniest side of your home.
- Each best carpenter bee trap includes a metal clasp, a 9-foot pull cord, and a pull ring to quickly and efficiently empty the spring-loaded release door.
- Looking to mount the trap? Use the two pre-drilled holes in the roof.
- Using a vacuum provides a deep clean and reduces the chance of bees escaping. Simply pull the black plug and insert the vacuum hose - a household vacuum or shop vac works great. To move bees, capture and release them using the vacuum container.
