Product Information

Maki Paraffinized Pellets

All-Weather Maki Pellets with Bromadiolone

The Liphatech's Maki Paraffinized Pellets is an all-weather bait for wet or dry areas, both indoors and outdoors. Its active ingredient is bromadiolone, a second-generation anticoagulant rodenticide (single-feed bait). For over thirty years, Maki has been known for its versatility and efficacy, using grains and a peanut flavor to attract Norway rats, roof rats, and house mice.

Rats perceive these pellets as natural seeds.

Maki Bulk Paraffinized Pellets are ideal for luring Norway rats from their burrows. Rats perceive these pellets as natural seeds within their environment and are consequently readily consumed as food. Moreover, they allow the applicator to regulate the quantity of rodenticide required for addressing the specific rodent issue. The formulation of Maki Bulk Paraffinized Pellets aligns perfectly with the natural seed-eating behavior of rodents, thus increasing the efficacy of the treatment.

Lethal Dosage in One Night

Norway rats and house mice can ingest a lethal dose of poison in just one night's feeding, and the first dead rodents typically emerge four or five days after feeding begins.

Application
  • Selection of Treatment Areas: It is important to pinpoint where rats and house mice will likely encounter and consume bait. These locations can range from the perimeters of walls to hidden crevices between floors or walls, corners, gnawed openings, nearby burrows, or any spot where evidence of their presence has been noticed. To further enhance the effectiveness of the bait, it is advisable to eliminate any other food sources that could divert the rodents' attention
  • Mice: Place 1/4 to 1/2 ounces of bait per placement, spaced 8 to 12 feet apart. If areas have exceptionally high mouse activity, up to 2 ounces of bait may be required. Ensure a steady supply of fresh bait for 15 days or until all signs of house mouse activity have disappeared.
  • Rats:To control rat infestations, apply a range of 4 to 16 ounces per placement, with a distance of 15 to 30 feet usually between each placement. Maintaining a steady supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days or until rat activity ceases is essential.
  • Follow-up: To effectively address contaminated or spoiled bait, it is important to replace it immediately and dispose of any visible dead animals or accessible bait with waterproof gloves. Additionally, limiting food, water, and harborage sources for rodents can discourage re-infestation. If re-infestation does occur, repeating the treatment is necessary. Setting up permanent bait stations and replenishing them as needed for a persistent infestation can provide a long-term solution.
