Product Information

Maki Pellets-Place Packs

Maki Pellets with Bromadiolone

The Maki Pellet Place Packs offer an effective solution for rodent infestations. It contains the active ingredient bromadiolone (single-feed rodent bait), which is known to control rats and mice effectively. The pellets can be used indoors and outdoors in various settings, such as homes, agricultural and public buildings, industrial and commercial buildings, food processing facilities, and port or terminal buildings.

Convenient Place Packs- Paraffinized Pellet Form

The convenient pellet place packs make it easy to access hard-to-reach areas, and the film helps keep the pellets fresh until consumed by rodents. The paraffinized formula requires moisture for optimal effectiveness.

Lethal Dosage in One Night

Rodents may eat a lethal dose in one night's feeding, and the first dead rodent typically appears four to five days later.

Application
  • Selection of Treatment Areas: Identifying locations where rats and house mice will likely encounter and ingest bait is important. Typically, these areas include the perimeters of walls, gnawed openings, corners, hidden spaces, crevices between floors or walls, nearby burrows, or spots where the pests or evidence of their presence have been noticed. Additionally, it is advisable to eliminate any other food sources that could distract the rodents from the bait.
  • Mice: Place 1/4 to 1/2 ounces of bait per placement, spaced 8 to 12 feet apart. If areas have exceptionally high mouse activity, up to 2 ounces of bait may be required. Ensure a steady supply of fresh bait for 15 days or until all signs of house mouse activity have disappeared.
  • Rats:To control rat infestations, apply a range of 4 to 16 ounces per placement, with a distance of 15 to 30 feet usually between each placement. Maintaining a steady supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days or until rat activity ceases is essential.
  • Follow-up: To effectively address contaminated or spoiled bait, it is important to replace it immediately and dispose of any visible dead animals or accessible bait with waterproof gloves. Additionally, limiting food, water, and harborage sources for rodents can discourage re-infestation. If re-infestation does occur, repeating the treatment is necessary. Setting up permanent bait stations and replenishing them as needed for a persistent infestation can provide a long-term solution.
