How To Use Mosquito Bits
Sprinkle one teaspoon per 25 square feet or one tablespoon per 75 square feet (1/2 lb. or 8 oz. per 2,178 square feet or 30 oz per 8,000 square feet.) When spread over the containerized water surface, the BITS release a biological mosquito larvicide at the water's surface. It kills the larvae before it turns into an adult mosquito.
A seven to the fourteen-day interval between applications should be employed. For more residual long-term control, we recommend the use of Mosquito Dunks after applying Mosquito Bits. May be applied to areas that contain aquatic life, fish, and plants. Maybe be applied to areas used by or in contact with humans, animals, horses, livestock, pets, birds, or wildlife. Except finished, treated human drinking water sources.
