Product Information
Inside use with Prelude Insecticide
Prelude may be sprayed for bed bugs, house dust mites, roaches, pantry pests, and other pests on the label. Apply as a crack and crevice application and treat where these pests are found. Limit application to non-food areas.
Â
Flea Control-Inside
Before treatment, carpets and furniture should be vacuumed thoroughly. Discard vacuum cleaner bags in an outdoor trash container before treatment. Avoid wetting or soaking. Mix 2.6 oz per gallon of water and evenly apply a broadcast spray at a one gal./800-1,600 sq. ft. to infested areas such as crawl spaces, rugs, carpets, pet beds, and other pet resting areas. The label says to use a NIOSH respirator for spray mists and organic vapors for crawl space applications.
When treating upholstered couches and chairs, pay particular attention to areas the pets like to frequent. Don't forget to spray under and between cushions.
We recommend mixing an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator-to cut the flea's life cycle) with the Prelude.
Clean or replace old pet bedding. We recommend pets be treated with a flea control product labeled for animals.
For hard floor surfaces, we recommend  PT Alpine Flea and Bed Bug Insecticide with IGR. This handheld aerosol has an insecticide, and an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) that adheres to hard floor surfaces better than a liquid solution of Prelude and liquid IGR.
