No. Developed by the experts at Rutgers University, the SenSci ActivCR bed bug lure mimics chemicals found on the surface of the skin and can attract up to twice as many bed bugs to an interception device.
By partnering with Insects Limited, SenSci was able to create a more controlled release of the lure in their bullet vial format than the original SenSci Activ towelette design. The lure can last up to 90 days before replacement is necessary.

That would include wearing gloves when installing the lure into the trap and following directions on the product label concerning placement of the traps.
