FUSE insecticide/termiticide uses a combination of active ingredients with various modes of action for an unique and effective product. This combined chemistry by Control Solutions uses two non-repellents, (Imidacloprid 21.4%) and (Fipronil 6.6%) for very effective termite and perimeter pest control applications.
The active ingredient in FUSE, imidacloprid is used in Dominion 2L and and the Fipronil is used in both Taurus SC and Termidor SC. It not only controls termites and ants, but a number of the outside perimeter pests.
FUSE Termiticide (Non-Repellent)
FUSE is non-repellent; therefore, termites and other insects do not know that Fuse treatment is there. Pest readily enter a treated zone, picking up a lethal dose and in the case of social insects like termites and ants, sharing that dose with their nest mates. So there is a greater chance of taking out the entire colony, increasing your success. Independent studies show that FUSE as a non-repellent readily transfers from treated "donor" termites to their untreated "recipient" nest mates.
FUSE Yields
FUSE 27.5 yields between 50-100 gallons of finished solution, mixed between 0.3 oz -0.6 oz per gallon.
FUSE Insecticide -Perimeter Pest Applications - Why It Is Important
FUSE offers flexible exterior perimeter pest control application options as compared to products containing fipronil alone, such as Termidor or Taurus. FUSE may be applied as a perimeter treatment up to eight times a year. Applications permitted by the product label are based on the rate and spray swath chosen. Termidor and Taurus are limited to twice a year perimeter control spraying.

How FUSE works
Since FUSE has a combination of two different active ingredients, it has two different modes of action.
The Imidacloprid attacks the nervous system of insects by their nicotine acetylcholine receptors.
The Fipronil blocks GABA chloride channels (prevents chloride ions) that are needed in the insects nervous system.
For a ready-to-use foam,FUSE Foam is an expanding foam with a 30:1 expansion ratio to foam into ant and termite nests and galleries and structural voids. When sprayed, FUSE Foam expands with an expansion ratio of 30:1, uses one oz of product in approximately 5 seconds producing about 1 quart of foam.
Outside termite control for subterranean termites, above ground termite control, inside spot treatment for termites and outside perimeter pests.

Application
Use FUSE Termiticide to treat subterranean termites. This chemical soil treatment is to apply a treated zone both horizontally and vertically between wood and other cellulose materials in structures and the termite colonies in the soil.
Use a 0.067% to 0.13% dilution. Use the strongest dilution rate (0.13%) for persistent or severe infestations.
Apply at the rate of 4 gallons of solution of FUSE and water per 10 linear feet.
There is a label with FUSE for exterior/interior spot treatments for termite control, except the state of Louisiana.
FUSE Termiticide/Insecticide can be used as a foam application. Foaming may be used alone or in combination of liquid mixtures for subterranean termites.
To use as a termite barrier mix at the rate of 27.5 oz per 100 gallons of water to reach a 0.067% dilution rate or at 55 oz per 100 gallons to reach a 0.13% dilution rate. Please read and follow all application instructions carefully. To use as a perimeter pest treatment mix at the rate of 0.3 to 0.6 oz per gallon of water and apply as directed
There are many variables in termite treatments. Feel free to call if you have any questions.

More Instructions
Wood Destroying Insects
A foam application of FUSE may be used for above ground termites and carpenter ants. See product label for complete directions.
FUSE may be used as a spray, mist or foam to treat drywood termites, powder post beetles and boers in structure voids and galleries.
Perimeter Pests -Ants, Beetles, Cluster Flies, House Crickets, Millipedes, Box-elder bugs, Pill Bugs and Silverfish
Perimeter Pest Application - Outside
Mix a 0.06% (0.3 fl oz per gallon of water) or 0.13% (0.6 fl oz per gallon of water) in a low pressure sprayer. Spray a wide band, 1-2 foot wide out and foot wide up around the perimeter of the foundation. Use about 1.5 gallons of finished solution per 1000 sq. ft.
The amount of application treatments with FUSE depends on the dilution concentration band width. You can spray up to 8 times a year.
FUSE may also be used in a low pressure spray in wall voids. See label for all details.
