This Havahart live mouse trap not only traps mice, but is perfect for trapping such critters as voles(meadow mice or field mice), chipmunks, and shrews. This small live trap (10”L x 3”W x 3"H) is designed with two gravity action doors. With the two doors, the small animal can enter from either direction and the sensitive trigger will quickly catch the animal as it targets the animals size, doing away with undesired catches. The mesh openings are small enough to prevent the caught animal from escaping.

Havahart Live Mouse Trap #1020 is made of galvanized rust-resistant wire with steel reinforcements for long term use.

Additional Info	Trapping Tips Do not leave trapped animals exposed to extreme heat or cold for prolonged times. Check traps often in order to release them. This limits stress so the animal does not injure itself in an attempt to escape. If you trap a mother (depending on the time of the year), the babies will not survive. Observe the belley of the trapped animal by standing the trap on one end. Animals often urinate and defecate when captured. After each catch, the trap should be disinfected and cleaned. Havahart recommends using 1 part bleach to 9 parts water and let it remain for 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly afterwards.
